Mother's Day

I would just like to with the best mother in the world a happy mothers day! I did my gift a day early for her, since this weekend has been so crazy. I got up early and made her breakfast in bed. She got coffee, pancakes with ricotta and straberry toppings! I must say I did a pretty good job! I delivered this to her in bed with her gift, and one of the flowers from the bouchet I got her. My mom does so much for me, and I love her to death, and she deserves a million trimes more than what I did for her! She is one of the best moms in the world, and I am lucky to have her!

PROM

Today was my senior prom, So today was a very busy day! I got my hair done, and headed of to Brianne's to get ready, and before I knew it, it was time for Greg to pick me up for pictures and dinner! We all headed downtown to Ann Morrison park for pictures, and then to Donny Mac's for dinner. Donny Macs is one of the strangest places to eat ever but it was delicious! It is building with a trailer painted on the side and serves "trailer cuisine" . As soon as you walk in you see a huge run down can turned into a booth, all the booths benches are on wheels, there are shower curtains to divide the booths. So really it is pretty trashy, but the food was delicious. This didn't seem like the most popular place for prom groups to eat, since we were the only ones there, but it was so good! After that we headed to the dance, which was at the sky box. It was a pretty amazing place to have prom, since you had such a good view! The dance floor was a little scary though. If you stopped dancing, and just kept your feet on the floor, you could feel the ground moving up and down, it was a little sketchy, but a lot of fun! After prom, our group of ten, came back to my house to watch some movies. Prom was fantastic, and I had a blast!

Try number 2!

So for a while I was going so strong on this and then for some reason April came and I just stopped blogging! I don't really know why,  since it is the end of my senior year, and this is a very exciting time! So here is a quick summary of all the things you missed!

1. I passed senior project presentations
2. Shelley's 18th birthday passed
3. I got asked to prom
4. I answered Greg for prom
5. I got my summer swim suit
6. I got my prom dress
7. I have spray tanned
9. I did senior skip days
10. There has been a very tragic death.
11.  I have work, work, worked, and more work.
12. I went to the pre-summer bash
13. I saw Wicked
14. Did all my graduation announcements
15. I went to Mr. MVHS and me, Shelley, and Kayla all bought Neil!

There is a very brief summary of whats gone on. I didn't really realize how much stuff I missed writing about until I sat here and wrote it all down! So hopefully I'll be able to keep it up for real this time since it is try number 2!

Business Attire!

So for senior project presentations, part of our grade is on our attire, and since I did not have any thing to business-y to wear me and my mom went out to get me a new out fit for it! We went out to the Macy's in Nampa, and I ended up getting a pencil skirt, and a cute top to go with it, now all I need is a cute pair of heals, and I'll be ready to present! After shopping for a while I came home to make Shelley a birthday cake since her 18th is on Tuesday! I made her a cake from our old Walker Station Elementary school cook book called "Kitty Litter Cake". It sounds pretty disgusting, but I promise it is delicious! It is made of white and chocolate cake, some crushed up oreos, and some melted tootsie rolls! It looks pretty disgusting, since you put it in a little box, but it is one of the yummiest cakes EVER! Hopefully she likes it!

Lacrosse!

Today I went to my first Mountain View LAX game with Shelley! My friend Jake has been asking me to go to one of his games pretty much since last year, and today I finally went! I never realized how violent of a game lacrosse is! People are getting tackled, hit with sicks, and they are all just violent! It was pretty interesting to watch though! Unfortunately me and Shelley had to leave a little bit early, so we didn't see the end, but it was 4-12 when we left, so I had a feeling there wasn't too much of a chance we would catch up. I think I was just bad luck at this game, because the one before the score was 18-4 in favor of MVHS, so maybe me and Shelley are just jinxes! But I actually really enjoyed watching it and I would love to go to another game!

Senior Project Sign Ups!

Senior project has seemed to put a ton of stress on every single senior. Now that it is finally winding down, It was time to sign up for a presentation slot! Sign ups started at 7 in the morning, so that means if you wanted a good time slot, you probably had to be there around 6! So i set my alarm bright and early for 5, and after getting a couple cups of coffee in me I managed to get to school just before 6. To my surprise there was already about 20 seniors there ahead of me! So i got in line for my hour wait! After I got there more and more people continued to come in, and this lead to a whole bunch of drama! People that got there at almost 7 were going straight to the front of the line, and since everyone was lacking on sleep, it turned in to some pretty intense arguments! I think the combination of stress, no sleep, not knowing what time slot you'll get, and the fact presentations are so soon put everyone on the edge and this just made a bunch of people blow up! The rest of the day went on pretty normal. I went to the baseball game againts Capital tonight, and we won! Afterwards Jordan and Angelina came over and we had a pretty good girls night! Most of the time was spent talking about prom, and then we watched a chick-flick, so it was a pretty good girls night! Today started off very interesting, but ended great!

Employed!

Today right after school I had a job interview at the Primary Colors Learning Center in Boise! So I came home from school changed, and headed off to the interview! When I got to the interview I met with the director, and I ended up talking to her for like an hour! It was such a great interview! We ended up just talking most of the time, and then I was told on the spot that I got the job! After talking for so long, I got a tour of the building, and I got the chance to see each age group's classroom. The whole place is so cute, and I honestly don't care at all what age I am with, because I know it will be a blast! :) I am so excited, because I have been looking for a job pretty much since December! This job will be perfect too! I would work a few hours after school Monday through Friday and then I would have every weekend off! I am so excited to start this job, and I hope I get to very soon!

Number 9!

Today while getting ready for school I decided to wear my Tony Romo number 9 jersey. I usually wear this on the days we have math tests, since it has become kind of a joke in that class that it is my lucky jersey, and thats how I pass my tests, but today it gave me some extra luck! While I was driving to school I was listening to the radio, and they did a contest for two free tickets to Warped Tour this summer. Since I have gone every summer since freshman year I figured it was worth a shot! And I happened to be the right caller and won! I have never ever won a radio contest before, and I was pretty excited! What is even better is that to win you had to be caller number 9! Even though I got made fun of for how excited I was, and that I soulnded dumb on the radio, I am convinced they are just jealous they didn't win the tickets for themselve! My lucky jersey really stepped it up this morning! On top of that, the music playing inbetween the bells was Justin Biber, I did great on my math test, my grade was brought up 8% because of it! I think this is a good sign for the Cowboy's this upcomming season because number 9 seems to be really lucky!

Ripped!

Today me and Kayla decided to go to the gym after school. We spent a good 2 and a half hours there too! We busted out some ab, and leg workouts and even played a little basketball, even though neither of us are too good at it! For about two weeks I have gone to the gym for at least an hour a day, and what is really annoying is my progress has seemed to hit a stand still! I have been going all the time, and nothing changes! I weigh the same, and can lift the same, and it is super annoying! I don't know what else to do to try to get into better shape! This is one of the reasons I really regret quitting swim team! I have never been in as good of shape as I was then! I would give almost anything to get back to that! Hopefully this stand still will end pretty soon, and I'll be able to see some changes again very soon!

Spoons

Tonight I went to student venture at school. Student venture is a a Christan group at my school, who get together on Monday nights for games, bible study, and a small group. Tonight for our game, we played the card game spoons in groups! Which was a lot of fun. My group was me, Kayla, Greg, Egidae, and Corbin. I came out as the winner in this game, and had a blast playing it. After hanging around talking and playing spoons we had our lesson. Tonight's main question was: If someone asked you to summarize the bible in one sentence what would it be. The most accurate answer seemed to be a book of God's miracles on earth. We went through the Bible and did an about 30 min summary on the miracles that have taken place. It was actually really nice to hear everything in order from the new to the old testaments! You don't really ever stop to think about all of the miracles and amazing things that do take place all throughout the bible. We also discussed that these miracles are still taking place, and that we are all still part of the story, and how we can be a memorable part of all of it. I had a really good time tonight, and I got to meet some new really nice people!

Spring Cleaning

So anyone that has seen my house recently, has seen how much of a disaster the upstairs was. I had clothes all over the place, shoes spread out in every room, my bathroom was a complete mess and filled with laundry. It was pretty much so messy that I wasn't sleeping in my bed, I slept on the couch of the bonus room because there was clean clothes I hadn't put away on my bed. So today was completely dedicated to cleaning. I scrubbed down my whole bath room, dusted, did all my laundry and put it up, and even vacuumed. I have to say the upstairs in our house is pretty beautiful now! Since today was dedicated to cleaning, I decided to even clean the truck. I washed the outside and then cleaned out the inside too. This truck has been passed down from Kevin to Cheryl and now its mine. I don't think either of them have ever really cleaned out the inside of the truck, because it was so gross. I never realized how bad it was until I wiped it out. But I got everything all clean today, it took forever but it was well worth it!

Days

Here are the things I have come to realize today:

17 days until senior project presentations.
18 days until senior skip.
35 days until prom.
55 days until the last day of school.
56 days until graduation.
61 days until California.

Volleyball!

Since it has been so nice out these past couple days, today we got people together to play some sand volleyball! Last summer I would play down at the school all the time with a group of friends, and it was a lot of fun! Tonight was not so much. I don't think I have ever been more picked on in my life! Me and Shelley were the only 2 girls there, and it seemed like we got the blame for everything! We were told not to touch the ball and that they would get it. If we didn't go for the ball we would get yelled at if we did go for it, we got yelled it! It was pretty much a lose lose situation! We played best out of 3, and after 2 games of it me and Shelley decided to leave a little early, but not with out getting them all back a little bit. We decided to drive by the volleyball court as slow as possible and playing Justin Bieber as loud as possible. As soon as they would get mad and run at us we would drive off and loop around to do it again! We got a pretty good laugh out of it, until they decided to try to throw sand and tennis balls at us! We ended up having a really funny time, despite everyone being butt heads!

Spring!

Today is the first day all year it has felt like spring time! It was like 70 and sunny so it was the perfect day to be out and about! So I spent the day walking around downtown with Shelley! We parked by the rose garden and just walked around and got coffee! It was so nice out that it almost felt like it could be summer! It makes me so excited for the warm weather, and I am so bummed that this weekend will be back to rain! I feel like it has been raining all the time lately, and they say "April showers bring May flowers" which I hope isn't true! It has rained enough lately, we don't need anymore!

Resolutions

So this spring break has consisted of me working out a ton, since I am trying to get into shape for California this summer! I have done circuit boot camps, cardio intervals, and endurance classes. After all of this, I feel like my legs are going to fall off! I do go to the gym a lot anyway, and I have noticed that the gym in still packed since the new year. No one really seems to be breaking their resolutions, which is a good thing for them, but it makes the gym so darn busy! All of the treadmills are taken, the classes have been filled to the max amount of people, it's ridiculous! Most people drop their resolution's before spring break, but its the end of March and people are still going! I hope it quiets down soon, because it's been so crazy the past few months there!

Jobs!

I feel like I have done a million posts about this, but today I went and turned in another few applications for a job! I am feeling pressured to find a job now since summer is close, and I need to save for California! I am so tired of looking for a job and filling out applications, and I am praying that this is the last time for a while I'll have to do it! This time I applied at a bunch of day cares close to my house, and I would absolutely LOVE a job at any of them. I feel like I have applied everywhere and so has everyone else my age! Everyone always tells me I am dumb for quitting my job at Justice since I can't find another job now, but I do not feel dumb about doing that at all, and hopefully all of this will pay off and I'll get a job that I really like and can actually get hours! And I know I can always go back to Justice after I turn 18 if I need to! On another note, today I came home from the gym around 12:30 and everything in my neighborhood was fine. I went back out just before 2, and there were about 7 cop cars parked in front of a house about 4 doors down from me! They had the man that lives in the house outside with his hands behind his head and a gun pointed at him! I have never seen anything that crazy before! Boise, Idaho is turning dangerous haha! I have no idea what was happening but the cop cars were there for a while and it looked like they were searching his house and car! I want to know what happened there so bad, and it was so crazy to see all of that!

Cardio Intervals

Every Monday and Friday that I am not at school, I go to this class at the gym called cardio intervals and every time I go I feel like I want to die! It's one of those things where you love it but absolutely hate it at the same time! This time it was a timed circuit and each time you had to try to beat your previous one. It was a bag push back and forth across the room, followed by 40 tricep dips, 10 push ups with your feet on a bench, running with 35 kettle bells in each hand, 10 box jumps, 20 crab kicks, and a crab walk! So we did this 3 times and had to beat our time! In between each set we did 2 min treadmill sprints, crazy walking planks, and a TON of abs! I felt like I wanted to die after all of that, but I am very proud that I beat my time every set and finished a a time of 1 min and 35 sec! It's actually really cool doing a class like this because the 1st few times i did this class, I was sick after I worked out so hard and now I can keep going harder and harder! I really is nice to be able to see yourself progress like this!

Slacking

Lately I have been slacking a lot on my blog! I have fallen behind on my pictures, and have been really unmotivated to write it! I need to step up my game again, but its getting really hard to want to keep going. I don't know what my deal! Maybe its just because my "senioritis" has kicked into this too or what! Hopefully I find someway to become motivated again and get back into the habit of doing a post each night and not just once every few days! It's spring break for us here so maybe I'll be able to catch up on all my pictures and get completely back on track!

Jumpin!

I went to Jump Time again tonight and it was a blast! Me and Shelley met up with our friends Sean, Lucas and Riley and hung out there for a couple hours! It's so fun just to jump around, play doge ball and play in the little jumpy castles. Even though I am too uncoordinated to do any tricks or anything else awesome, it is still so cool to watch what everyone else can do. Jump Time has kind of been taken over by middle school whores now though! It surprises me what some of these girls dress like there! And even though me and Shelley got picked up and thrown by the guys we went with, ganged up on in dodge ball it was still a really fun night!

Baseball!

Tonight and Angelina went to a baseball game against Eagle, but it almost wasn't worth going since we almost froze! It was so cold and wet out, but we couldn't leave early since it was a pretty close game! We were tied in the last inning but Mountain View came out on top! It was a lot of fun getting to go with Angelina since I haven't got to hang out with her in a while, and I met a few new really nice people too! It was so funny sitting with all of them, since they go to Mountain View's base ball games all the time, they don't know the guys by their numbers but by their butts! We had a pretty fantastic time minus being cold and wet, and I can't wait to go to another game!
