Mother's Day

I would just like to with the best mother in the world a happy mothers day! I did my gift a day early for her, since this weekend has been so crazy. I got up early and made her breakfast in bed. She got coffee, pancakes with ricotta and straberry toppings! I must say I did a pretty good job! I delivered this to her in bed with her gift, and one of the flowers from the bouchet I got her. My mom does so much for me, and I love her to death, and she deserves a million trimes more than what I did for her! She is one of the best moms in the world, and I am lucky to have her!

PROM

Today was my senior prom, So today was a very busy day! I got my hair done, and headed of to Brianne's to get ready, and before I knew it, it was time for Greg to pick me up for pictures and dinner! We all headed downtown to Ann Morrison park for pictures, and then to Donny Mac's for dinner. Donny Macs is one of the strangest places to eat ever but it was delicious! It is building with a trailer painted on the side and serves "trailer cuisine" . As soon as you walk in you see a huge run down can turned into a booth, all the booths benches are on wheels, there are shower curtains to divide the booths. So really it is pretty trashy, but the food was delicious. This didn't seem like the most popular place for prom groups to eat, since we were the only ones there, but it was so good! After that we headed to the dance, which was at the sky box. It was a pretty amazing place to have prom, since you had such a good view! The dance floor was a little scary though. If you stopped dancing, and just kept your feet on the floor, you could feel the ground moving up and down, it was a little sketchy, but a lot of fun! After prom, our group of ten, came back to my house to watch some movies. Prom was fantastic, and I had a blast!

Business Attire!

So for senior project presentations, part of our grade is on our attire, and since I did not have any thing to business-y to wear me and my mom went out to get me a new out fit for it! We went out to the Macy's in Nampa, and I ended up getting a pencil skirt, and a cute top to go with it, now all I need is a cute pair of heals, and I'll be ready to present! After shopping for a while I came home to make Shelley a birthday cake since her 18th is on Tuesday! I made her a cake from our old Walker Station Elementary school cook book called "Kitty Litter Cake". It sounds pretty disgusting, but I promise it is delicious! It is made of white and chocolate cake, some crushed up oreos, and some melted tootsie rolls! It looks pretty disgusting, since you put it in a little box, but it is one of the yummiest cakes EVER! Hopefully she likes it!

Lacrosse!

Today I went to my first Mountain View LAX game with Shelley! My friend Jake has been asking me to go to one of his games pretty much since last year, and today I finally went! I never realized how violent of a game lacrosse is! People are getting tackled, hit with sicks, and they are all just violent! It was pretty interesting to watch though! Unfortunately me and Shelley had to leave a little bit early, so we didn't see the end, but it was 4-12 when we left, so I had a feeling there wasn't too much of a chance we would catch up. I think I was just bad luck at this game, because the one before the score was 18-4 in favor of MVHS, so maybe me and Shelley are just jinxes! But I actually really enjoyed watching it and I would love to go to another game!

Senior Project Sign Ups!

Senior project has seemed to put a ton of stress on every single senior. Now that it is finally winding down, It was time to sign up for a presentation slot! Sign ups started at 7 in the morning, so that means if you wanted a good time slot, you probably had to be there around 6! So i set my alarm bright and early for 5, and after getting a couple cups of coffee in me I managed to get to school just before 6. To my surprise there was already about 20 seniors there ahead of me! So i got in line for my hour wait! After I got there more and more people continued to come in, and this lead to a whole bunch of drama! People that got there at almost 7 were going straight to the front of the line, and since everyone was lacking on sleep, it turned in to some pretty intense arguments! I think the combination of stress, no sleep, not knowing what time slot you'll get, and the fact presentations are so soon put everyone on the edge and this just made a bunch of people blow up! The rest of the day went on pretty normal. I went to the baseball game againts Capital tonight, and we won! Afterwards Jordan and Angelina came over and we had a pretty good girls night! Most of the time was spent talking about prom, and then we watched a chick-flick, so it was a pretty good girls night! Today started off very interesting, but ended great!

Employed!

Today right after school I had a job interview at the Primary Colors Learning Center in Boise! So I came home from school changed, and headed off to the interview! When I got to the interview I met with the director, and I ended up talking to her for like an hour! It was such a great interview! We ended up just talking most of the time, and then I was told on the spot that I got the job! After talking for so long, I got a tour of the building, and I got the chance to see each age group's classroom. The whole place is so cute, and I honestly don't care at all what age I am with, because I know it will be a blast! :) I am so excited, because I have been looking for a job pretty much since December! This job will be perfect too! I would work a few hours after school Monday through Friday and then I would have every weekend off! I am so excited to start this job, and I hope I get to very soon!
